Who loves short shorts?

Summer is almost here!

I can almost feel the warm rays on my milk bottle white skin right this second. Well okay not quite, I do live in England after all.

So the process of shaking off those Spring rain cover ups and gathering up of summery flesh exposing clothes has begun.

I've an odd relationship with summer. I enjoy the tanning, the lazing about and such but I've a complex about my legs. My hairy and I think too sickly looking legs, but I digress.

Leg complex or not I'm in love with these fitted Topman (naturally) beauties I spotted a few weeks back. With a nice fitted polo tee I think they'd look lovely. Do we agree?

I've become ridiculously obsessed with shirts. Short sleeve, long sleeve, cotton, denim, checks, striped, plain, I want them all!

This here black denim delight from ... yes you guessed it have a gold star ... Topman is right up my street I'm wishing now for it to be right in my wardrobe. Oh and while you busy yourself popping that into my wardrobe be an angel and slip a pair of these Indigo Twister Jeans I really like in there too. Cheers lovey.

I've the beautiful glass monolith desk, the shiney laptop atop it but I need a sleek chair to complete the look.

After a bit of internet perusal, as one casually does to avoid the other important nonsense which needs tending to, I found this rather funky Omega chair.

Slight concern that I'll destroy it with all the ease of Godzilla if I sat on it but still.

During a little perusing of shots from the Spring / Summer 09 shows I found this here little look I rather adore amongst the offerings of Armand Basi. In fact now that I think about it I own a pair of jeans and a tee exactly like that. Not quite sure the butterflies would be practical in a seminar but it's those shoes I'm interested.

I love Boat style shoes but am worried I'll look a complete tosspot in a pair.

Nonetheless have sought out a similar pair to give them a go. Found these at Topman. What do we think?

I tend to jump from one obsession with a particular piece of clothing to another. I'll buy it and similar in every possible colour and then quite happily discard my interest in it and move on to something else equally as pretty.

I've moved on from my obsessive buying of funky v neck style tees in bright colours to checks. I've red, purple, blue and various other colours by the dozen but no green! I adore green, how odd that I haven't.

This delicious Hackett will do very nicely. Be my Valentine?

No beautiful image to go with this entry, simply a little fable.

Saw a chap on the train wearing the most incredible pair of shoes I've ever seen earlier today. Paired with his indigo wash jeans, simple tee and fitted coat they looked gooooood.

Having weighed up the pros and cons of asking just were the magnificent pair had emerged from (Pro: In the know, go buy same pair and live happily ever after. Con: Could be a a well dressed crazy person assume I'm coming on to him and freak out / break my nose) was just about to ask (and offer him my bag, my coat, whatever! in exchange for them) when he got off the train.

Devastated.

They were a formal shoe in dark grey in I think leather with that chic distressed crinkled look. I wont be happy until I find them.

I don't usually condone violence but I wish I'd mugged him.

Having spent seemingly forever earlier today testing I've decided this Prada treat, described by Fragrance Bouquet as an "atypically male" offering, is perfect.

Tick Tock Disasters

I've lost count of how many watches I've had over the years. Each has been different but they share one thing in common: destruction. I'm not sure how I do it but I somehow manage to ruin them. Breaking the strap, smashing the cover, you name it I've done it.
